What is the H.O.G. Chapter?

More than simply an "organization", the Music City Chapter is a place where people who share your passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles can come together and ...well, share their passion for owning and riding the greatest motorcycle in the world.

Our chapter, sponsored by Boswell's Harley-Davidson, has its own way of doing that, by meeting together, riding together, playing together   -  whatever the members decide is the best way to ride and have fun.

If you own a Harley and are ready to squeeze the throttle, make lasting friendships and great motorcycling memories...MCC is for you!

What do I get for my $24 MCC dues?

The great thing about being involved with MCC is the countless number of rides and activities available for you to enjoy.  MCC has a 24 year history of riding and having fun.  There are traditional (annual) events and new events  added every year to keep things fresh and lively.

Here are some of the types of activities you can expect to enjoy:

Rides-  Short rides, long rides, and overnight adventures.

Monthly Meetings-  Have a meal and great time with your friends while getting the latest news on chapter happenings.  We meet the third Thursday of each month at the dealership on Fessler's Lane.  See calendar for more details.

Dinner rides and monthly social gatherings-  Ride, eat, visit.  Repeat. Any questions?

Annual Toy Parade and Charity Program-  Sponsored by Boswell's Harley-Davidson and MCC, benefitting the needy of middle Tennessee.

Safe Rider Programs-  Take a Riders Edge Course through Boswell's H-D or any MSF course and receive special recognition.

Volunteering-  Some will tell you this is where the real fun begins!  Volunteer opportunities range from helping at a chapter event to becoming a chapter officer.

Purchases-  Boswell's Harley-Davidson kindly offers a discount to all MCC HOG Rewards Club members.

Once I join how do I keep up with the rides and activities?

You can look forward to receiving our quarterly newsletter, HOG WILD, chapter specific email blasts with the latest news, the MCC website calendar and exclusive membership areas on the website.

If you are a member and not receiving chapter blasts on a regular basis please send your email address to gbagwell@comcast.net.

MCC'S RIDE POLICY REGARDING THE WEATHER
How do we determine "go" or "no go" on a potentially weather-affected ride?
We call it the 50/50 rule*. According to the WEATHER CHANNEL, if the high temperature is 50 degrees or less, OR there is a 50% chance of rain or more, the ride is cancelled.**

The decision is at the discretion (and direction!) of the Road Captains in charge of the ride.

*("40/40 rule" applies during Standard Time, ie, Fall & Winter. We change to 50/50 rule during Daylight Savings Time, ie, Spring & Summer)

*Check for the most up-to-date changes in activities and events:Call the Ride Line  @ 615-242-6067 ext. 8 or MCC Forum Events Update Page

Are you a Music City H.O.G. Chapter member, but you're not receiving Chapter email Blasts?
