Ride to HD York Operations
York ,Pa.
Since I'm stuck here in Yankee land, decided to take a day ride to the
H-D plant and take a tour; about a 200-mile ride round trip through
Gettysburg. Great experiance to walk the line!The photo was taken by a
H.O.G. brother from Burlington, N.J. Sean & his wife rode their Road
King over. Tour guide was a teacher at Austin Pea in Clarksville. Today took me over 3,000
miles now on the '09 FXDC. --tim

MCC'S RIDE POLICY REGARDING THE WEATHER
How do we determine "go" or "no go" on a potentially weather-affected ride? We call it the 50/50 rule*. According to the WEATHER CHANNEL, if the high temperature is 50 degrees or less, OR there is a 50% chance of rain or more, the ride is cancelled.**
The decision is at the discretion (and direction!) of the Road Captains in charge of the ride.
*("40/40 rule" applies during Standard Time, ie, Fall & Winter. We change to 50/50 rule during Daylight Savings Time, ie, Spring & Summer)
