THIS WEEK'S TUESDAY NIGHT DINNER RIDE
The first dinner ride of the new year is going to the Red Robin Gourmet Burgers at 6802 Charlotte Pike. Come out for a great burger and let's hear about your riding plans for 2009! The ride leaves Fessler's Lane at 6:30, or if the weather is not cooperating (follow the 50/50 rule) we'll meet at the restaurant at 7:00.

What is the 50/50 weather rule? If the high temprature of the day is below 50, or the chance of rain for the day exceeds 50% the ride is canceled.

REELFOOT LAKE TRIP JANUARY 10-11, 2009!
Let's ride or drive to Reelfoot Lake this weekend. Eagles conjure up images of freedom and our favorite motorcycle...Harley-Davidson! REELFOOT LAKE, here in Tennessee, is home to one of the largest wintering populations of eagles in the country. During the peak season (mid Jan - early Feb) there can be as many as 200 Bald Eagles wintering on Reelfoot Lake.
When: January 10-11, 2009
Where: Reelfoot Lake Inn
Transportation: With winter weather uncertain we will plan for a ride however if the weather does not cooperate we will carpool to Reelfoot Lake so that this trip goes as planned.
Reservations: The room rate is very reasonable- mention Music City HOG and get a great rate of $50.00.
The number to the Reelfoot Lake Inn is 731-253-6845. Their website is http://www.reelfootlakeinn.com/index.htm The eagle tour is conducted on a bus provided by Reelfoot Lake State Park (an additional fee of +/- $5.00 per person) with rangers that will find the eagles for us. They will set up spotting scopes so that you will have an up close look at these beautiful birds.
