Leaving Fesslers Lane at 9:30 am, join Past Director Rick Osgood for a ride to the Town of Dover, Gateway to Nature's Getaway. This area is home to Fort Donelson National Battlefield and Cemetery, Surrender House/Dover Hotel (site of the unconditional surrender of General Buckner to General Grant in 1862) Kentucky Lake, Land Between the Lakes, Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge, Paris Landing State Park, the list goes on.....Following a spirited ride we'll surrender our appetites to Cindy's Catfish Kitchen. Leaving Fesslers Lane at 1:00 pm for a couple hours of riding and end up at Bumpus H-D at 3:00 for presentation of the 2008 H.O.G. Multi-Chapter Mileage Award. How did MCC do in the competition? Great...we think! Thanks to everyone who reported their ending mileage. Food will be served in Murfreesboro. With the time change Sunday we have an extra hour of daylight riding. So come on out and ride, hang out with friends from several middle Tennessee H.O.G. Chapters and....eat, of course!
We had a great time at this event last year! Meet at the Flying Saucer at 5:45 for a bite to eat then take a short walk to watch the Predators battle the Ducks. The puck drops at 7:00 pm. In order for us to all sit together we need to purchase our tickets in advance. BOO! It's a fun BOO! We are taking a haunted pub tour in downtown Nashville. We sold out the first tour so we've added another! The two groups will meet up at the last haunted pub on the tour. We need to have an accurate head count and payment for this event in advance. Reservations deadline for the second tour is Tuesday 3/10 at 5:00 pm.
