New 40-40 Rule now in effect In keeping with our theme of "We Ride", Music City has replaced the "50-50 Rule" with the "40-40 Rule", until Daylight Savings Time starts. With all of the heated grips and heated gear available, many of our members are ready to ride in colder temperatures. Then again, rain is a lot less pleasant in colder temps. Therefore, our rides will go, if the high for the day is projected to be 40 degrees or above and the precipitation percentage is less than 40%. We use weather.com or the Weather Channel as our guide. The decision is based on the destination forecast. >Back to top THE TNDR Tonights weekly Tuesday Night Dinner Ride (TNDR) is going to Fulins Asian Cuisine, in Brentwood. Although the new winter weather ride policy (the 40-40 Rule) isn't met, go straight to the restaurant at 7pm. The restaurant is located at 782 Old Hickory Blvd., Brentwood. Rides below are scheduled for this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at Music City "We Ride"! HOOKIE DAY RIDE THIS FRIDAY 1/15 Tired of your bike being parked gathering dust? Tired of working? Let's play Hookie! Call in sick or give a good excuse to Momma and go riding. The 50 degree temp will feel like Springtme, after the past few weeks. Jim Ryan has planned a ride leaving Fesslers lane at 10 am, destination unknown? Well, can't tell ya the boss might find out! POLAR BEAR RIDE THIS SATURDAY 1/16 The Rivergate Chapter is having a make-up for their Polar Bear Ride. Arrive between 10:30 and 11:30 am. See their calendar for full details. HENRY HORTON SATE PARK THIS SUNDAY 1/17 In the South we eat dinner at lunch time and Sunday is the best of them all. Join your friends for a ride to Henry Horton State Park, for a dinner buffet. The ride will leave Fesslers Lane at 10:00 am. >Back to top JANUARY CHAPTER MEETING NEXT THURSDAY 1/21 At our HOG home, Boswell's H-D, 401 Fesslers Lane. We'll begin gathering around 6:00 pm, supper will be served by HOG Chef Ray at 6:30 and we'll have an update on chapter activites at 7:30. Rain or shine event!
